Test Process

Because of the strong clinical evidence and experience, Castle Biosciences has integrated myPath® Melanoma into a workflow optimized to give you and your patient the most confident result. With your order of the Comprehensive Diagnostic Offering, upon receipt at our lab, Castle will perform myPath Melanoma on all submitted cases. If the case results in an intermediate result, we will automatically perform DiffDx™-Melanoma to provide additional diagnostic clarity. If DiffDx-Melanoma also results in an intermediate case, myPath Melanoma will be reported with the score and a notation that both tests resulted in an intermediate result.
